Connecting through Social Media

There are many ways for us to connect and stay in touch. On the right sidebar or following this list, you’ll see some buttons to connect to my accounts on other social media.  A quick rundown on what you’ll find there and an invitation to join me as a friend or follower —

Facebook – My “Julia Harmon Bookwoman” account is a condensed version of what you’ll find here on my blog and website.  If you’re on Facebook frequently, I would love for you to drop by my page and say hello!

Twitter  – This is where I share a lot of content about writing and social media for writers.  I’ll also be updating my followers on my own writing “work in progress” and sharing tweets that I see about reading, books and writing.

Instagram – I love taking photos of books I have read and/or own, book stores I visit, book events and sharing bookish quotations. There is a large community of book and reading lovers there, and I also enjoy seeing what they post.

Pinterest – My boards include “Reading, Books and Libraries”, “Favorite Authors”, “Bookstores=Heaven!”, “Literary Landmarks”, “Oklahoma Books, Authors and Poets”, “Books as Decor”, “Altered Books”, “Great Quotations from Writers”, “Writerly Advice and Info”, “Writing the Novel”, “Authors’ Platform Tips”, “Our Personal and Family Stories”, “My Personal Library”, “The Magic of Creativity”, “Heroines and ‘Uppity’ Women”, and “Southernisms”.  I also have boards for my favorite books of each year, holidays and seasons and several others. I also love connecting with those who have similar interests and adding their pins to my boards.

Linkedin – This is where I connect and share information with professionals who are engaged in careers related to reading, writing, education, publishing, sharing and promoting the love of books and the written word.
