A Gracious Plenty

(Review notes written in 1997)Finch, a young woman who was horribly burned in a childhood accident, tends the graves at the local cemetery. I have never really cared for ghost stories, but this was a beautifully written book of redemption and love. Finch has the ability to talk with those whose graves she tends and learns the secrets of their lives and deaths. The element of mystery makes this a story for any who love plot-driven books, but I also appreciated the detail that Reynolds to make her characters come alive. (No pun intended.)
